Liam is a victim of a bad upbringing; he has been raised around crime and violence. He does not know what is right and what is wrong.

He has also had a bad upbringing, Pinball is mad and dangerous. An example of this is when he drives the drug lord’s car like a manic.
Chantelle

she loves and fears Liam, she loves him because she helps him heal his injuries after the attack. She is scared of Liam because she doesn’t want his actions to cause consequences on her son Callums safety

Liam’s mum cares for Liam and she is a strong incentive for Liam because he loves her and wants to be with her. She is a very influential person in Liam’s life because Liam’s dream is for them to be happy and live together.

Liam’s granddad hates Liam, we know this because he attacks and beats his own grandson to within an inch of his life in the beginning of the film

Limas mums boyfriend- he hates Liam because he does not want his mum to be with this bad man, he expresses this when he attacks him and beats him
